DUST. WIND. DUDE.: Much to the dismay of Ted Logan, Karl Marx, and not Socrates has been named the Greatest Philosopher of All Time in a BBC poll. (Gee, why doesn't MSNBC ever run these kind of polls?) Marx got 27.93% of the votes, easily beating No. 2, Hume, who garnered 12.67%. Socrates finished seventh, just .01% behind Aquinas, and also trailing Wittgenstein, Nietzche, and Kant.
