WELL, IF HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INDUCTED THIS YEAR, THE INVISIBLE HAND OF THE FREE MARKET WOULD HAVE PUT HIM IN: The 2009 class of inductees for the New Jersey Hall of Fame has been unveiled, including Jerry Lewis, Paul Robeson, Althea Gibson, Abbott and Costello, Shaquille O'Neal and Jon Bon Jovi. Shut out again, from among the nominees whom we discussed in September, are William Brennan, Milton Friedman, Molly Pitcher, Jack Nicholson, David Sarnoff and Carl Lewis. (Really, Garden Staters: The Big Aristotle over the 10-time gold medalist? And no room for former Presidents Grover Cleveland and Woodrow Wilson?)
