HAD THE TIMES MERELY SAID THAT CONSTANTINE MAROULIS DIDN'T EMBARRASS HIMSELF AND MIGHT HAVE A FUTURE IN BETTER PRODUCTIONS, DAYENU: But instead, it's a 100% rave from The Gray Lady for the 80s jukebox musical Rock of Ages, about which we've spoken before, for which the Times says that the Idol alum possesses "a soulful, pure and intense voice that negotiates the mountains of melisma and cuts through the electricity with ease" in "a seriously silly, absurdly enjoyable arena-rock musical," and that "for anyone whose youth coincided with the time period in question, the siren call of those screaming guitars and singalong choruses may be impossible to resist."
