ALOTT5MA PREMORSE DESK:  On March 28, 2010, in a discussion of premorse Marsha commented: "I was 100% sure Harry Morgan was dead. But he isn't."

Now he is. Alan Sepinwall remembers the M*A*S*H/Dragnet star, dead at 96.

Chalk me up to premorse.  He was certainly not young looking as the judge in Inherit the Wind.  I always liked him as an actor.  96 is one hell of a good run.

Seriously? THAT is how you eulogize Harry Frickin' Morgan?!?!?

One of the most prolific actors in TV history, who created one of the most undeniable characters in TV history - which was a REPLACEMENT for another indelible character. A man of massive talent, and, by all accounts, good humor and decency. (http://kenlevine.blogspot.com/2011/12/rip-harry-morgan.html) Harry Morgan, I may not have known that you were still alive, but I am certainly sad that you're gone. Rest in peace, Col. Potter, and thanks for both the laughs and the tears.

  3. Alan did it better than I could have, so I linked.  No disrespect intended.
