THE MAILSACK THUD OF ANOTHER BOY GOING HOME TO JESUS:  There's something about the promos for the Million Second Quiz that strikes me as horribly dystopian, one of the stories where the Great Game Show has a dreadful underlying secret or a cost so obvious that no one notices it anymore: Death Race 2000, the Running Man, the Long Walk, the Hunger Games, usw.

  1. Part of the brilliance of Millionaire is that the rules were ridiculously simple. Here, things are so insanely complicated (and not explained to anyone during the show), that it just gets silly. Add to it that the money totals are completely phony--they haven't won that money and may not win it--only one person at the end of this thing walks away with money.

I don't know anything about this show, other than I keep seeing the name and thinking, "so wait, the quiz lasts for the better part of two weeks straight?"

Glad I'm not the only one who saw that and immediately ran the numbers. (11.57 days, BTW.)

I swear, I ignored it/didn't see any promos until your talking about on Twitter last night and had no idea NBC was doing it as a Biog Brother thing where it's ongoing with 1 hour digests. Which probably speaks to how little NBC I've watched this summer (except EPL).
