FINALLY, UNLIMITED BREADSTICKS:  Governor Pat Quinn is pleased to announce that finally, an Olive Garden has arrived within the city limits of Chicago.  No word on if he's taking sides in the ongoing proxy fight over management.

  2. I drive past it every day to and from work. Can't wait to see what sort of traffic snarls will happen, particularly in baseball season when Addison's a parking lot eastward toward the Kennedy.

What I really don't understand is why people would go here, when there are hundreds of Italian options in Chicago from fancy places like RPM Italian and Spiaggia to local, family-owned places that have been in the neighborhood for generations. Is the draw of breadsticks and bottomless salads that tempting?
